We are happy to say, the hunt is finally over and we've found a nice little pad in Harlem, NY! We wanted to venture further away from the crazy rush in Hell's Kitchen, but still experience the "city vibe" that we moved here for. So far, Harlem has been a good mix and we're enjoying the neighborhood!
This video shows the last handful of apartments that we toured. Many of them will look similar as they are mostly in the same building. A few factors that played into our decision(s) were:
- Distance from train
- Close to grocery stores, bodegas, laundromat, etc
- Separation of space (ie. kitchen not combined with living)
- Clean (didn't have to be renovated, but that was a perk)
