Hello all!
#1 - Curtain Rod TP Holder
Let's be real - our Harlem about is TINY! In a small space it can be nearly impossible to store a surplus of items without looking like an episode of Extreme Couponing. This TP holder looks pretty cool and doesn't take up a ton of space.
#2 - Hardwood Floor Shelf
In this DIY, we're using two familiar/go-to materials - hardwood flooring and curtain brackets. This shelf can hold a few decor pieces and is pretty sturdy. This easy project can be done in about 15-20 minutes and the hardwood plank can be swapped out for any other type of material you'd like!
#3 - Embossed Mason Jars
Ok, ok...This is not really a DIY, but more of a quick life hack. Mason jars are amazing for storage and look pretty cool in tight spaces. Labeling the jars adds a special touch and makes it easier to see what's inside without taking it out. We chose embossed labels for a more vintage look.
#4 - Newspaper Candle Jar
Probably one of our favorites! This project is so easy and kinda brings us back to our elementary school days. The technique is simply paper mache! Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge© or (watered down) Elmer's Glue© and lay down the newspaper strips. For a more abstract look, you can use newspaper articles that have color!
We hope you guys enjoyed these quick and easy DIYs + Life Hacks! These projects cost little to no money and were easily accomplished within a weekend. We'd love to see your creations if you try it!
